This is not strictly a Ming Dynasty design, more a modern take on an old theme, but still has plenty of oriental styles. The desk’s name comes from its unusually shaped legs. Two S shapes cross to form an hourglass at each end of the desk. The top of the desk includes a rattan inlay making it more hard-wearing for everyday use. Three draws provide useful storage for stationery and pens. Bloomsbury Market Colour: Black Lacquer
