The ADAM Audio D3V is a fully active desktop monitoring system designed for songwriters, producers, and music enthusiasts who seek the renowned sound quality of ADAM Audio with maximum convenience. Available in white or black, these active monitors boast the iconic golden ribbon tweeter, reflecting ADAM Audio’s German industrial design heritage.
Each monitor features:
- 3.5” aluminum woofers powered by 80W amplifiers.
- Dual-sided 3.5” passive radiators that enable the D3V to reach as low as 45 Hz.
With over 25 years of experience in ribbon tweeter technology, ADAM Audio presents the compact 1.5” D-ART (Desktop Accelerated Ribbon Tweeter), providing precise and fatigue-free high-frequency reproduction synonymous with their monitoring systems.
The D3V includes a USB-C input, allowing it to function as a digital output device when connected to a computer—eliminating the need for an additional audio interface. This plug-and-play capability also extends to mobile devices, offering high-quality audio without the compression typically associated with such connections. Additionally, the D3V features balanced ¼” TRS inputs for traditional analog audio applications.
On the back of the left speaker, a variety of user-friendly switches help address common acoustic issues due to speaker placement. The front panel features a headphone socket and a volume knob that also serves as a control for audio input selection, muting, and other functions.
The D3V comes with detachable monitor stands angled at 15° towards the listener’s ears, and both monitors include a standard threaded 3/8” hole for microphone stand mounting.
